Infrared light, invisible to the naked eye, begins in the high-red area of the visible spectrum around 750nm and extends beyond 1000nm. This filter allows light from the very high red edge of the visible spectrum and infrared light to pass through. Objects in a scene reflect infrared light differently than normal light, leading to creative and distinct photographic results. The filter works effectively with digital cameras, particularly mirrorless cameras or DSLRs without an IR blocking filter in front of the sensor. Made from high-quality glass.
